Wudu was our home for many days in Sudan. From here we did ministry at many schools and marketplaces. It is also here that we fell in love with our new Sudan family! Click here to view photos.

At many of the schools we visited we played the kids in futbol. We challenged their school team to a match with the stakes being the winning team got to keep the jerseys and soccer ball. Needless to say we lost every match and not for lack of trying! Click here to view the gallery.

Here are some photos of our travels back from the Sudan, through Uganda, and in London. We flew in a mini brush plane that took off from a grassy field, enjoyed our first cold soda after being in Sudan for 9 days, and spent time with new fabulous friends in London. Click here to view photos.

Almost Home

Well we are enjoying the last leg of our trip with our newly found friends and hosts in London. We had such an amazing time and cannot wait to share the stories and pictures. God did great things in our hearts and in Sudan, we met new brothers and sisters we never knew we had. We are so excited to see you all on Sunday at church! Thank you for praying for us!

London Town

We've made it to London after what seemed like an eternal day of travel. We began our journey from Visalia at 10:30 am headed down to fly out of LAX. We are all loaded to the hilt with baggage each of us taking three bags of supplies, music equipment, and aid for the people of Sudan. It was actually a somewhat smooth check-in process but once we were aboard the plane we were delayed two hours due to some baggage weight descrepencies which we could only assume were our thirty bags filled with 70lbs. of gear. After a delightful 10 hr flight and a lovely stay overnight in London (we had some very generous and amazing families open their homes for us) we are off for a tube ride into Heathrow Airport London and on our way to Kenya. Special shout out to Kelli and Jason Avila with the pending arrival of Lily Jae.

We are off to Sudan!!

We are heading off!! We want to thank everyone who supported us financially, prayerfully, and through donating supplies.  We are completely overwhelmed by the generosity and support we have been shown through individuals, Radiant and Crossroads Churches, soccer organizations, medical clinics and many others.  We are so excited to see the faithfulness of God through his provision in enabling us to go and now we can't wait to see what he has prepared for the actual trip! Thank you so much to everyone who made this trip possible.  We can't wait to share this adventure with you.  Please pray for us while we are in Sudan.  We will try to update this blog while we are there and we will post pictures and stories when we return!
